Preparations for the war against the Soviet Union began in the fall of 1940.
Three months before the war began, Hitler revealed to the Wehrmacht High Command
that this campaign would be special. The
intention was to not only militarily conquer and defeat the Soviet Union,
as the enemy, but to utterly eliminate the system of »Jewish Bolshevism.«
